The BMW X6 xDrive35d features a three-litre straight-six diesel engine with Variable Twin Turbo and third-generation common rail fuel injection.  Maximum output is 210 kW/286 hp at 4,400 rpm and maximum torque of 580 Nm/427 lb-ft is available at 1,750-2,250 rpm. The BMW X6 xDrive35d accelerates from 0 to100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, and continues to a top speed 236 km/h. Average fuel consumption is 9.0 litres/100 km.  Weighing just 194 kg, this high-performance diesel is 50 kilos lighter than an eight-cylinder with roughly the same power output.
